Peaceful location next to the beach, perfect for what we were after

Beautiful property on the sea front, surrounded by nature - peaceful. Positive: The home was very open and peaceful, sunsets and sunrises are particularly relaxing from the master bedroom. The hosts were very gracious and assisted in us in a tight spot. Negative: An option to block light in the bedroom would be a good addition.

Yes- our two dogs were very welcomed but note there is a chicken coop belonging to the neighbours which border the fence line. The neighbour was very accomodating when I warned him that my dogs had never met chickens before and I wasn't sure how they would react. In the end our dogs were fine but this should be noted in the house description.

Positive: The ambience of the home was welcoming, with a lush backyard and serene surroundings. Location was great - only a 5 to 10 minute walk to the nearest beach. There was a charming tennis court behind the house and the local eateries and retail establishments were only a short walk or drive away. The home itself was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was nicely stocked and organised. Amenties were easy to locate and use (fantastic washer and dryer). There was also plentiful entertainment that exceeded my expectations, including many board games, movies, toys, sporting/outdoor equipment (beach towels, tennis rackets, etc). Greatly appreciated the owner accommodating our slightly later check out time. Overall, our group of 8 had a lovely stay and would return. Negative: Wish there was more seating in the main living area. One of the bunk beds were missing slats both top and bottom. Not all bedroom windows had blinds which was a little uncomfortable and disturbed sleep due to the sunlight. Lastly, not a huge issue, but I couldn't find the clothes iron despite looking everywhere.
