Aireys Cliff-Top Gem - Your Ultimate Coastal Escape

Positive: The ambience of the home was welcoming, with a lush backyard and serene surroundings. Location was great - only a 5 to 10 minute walk to the nearest beach. There was a charming tennis court behind the house and the local eateries and retail establishments were only a short walk or drive away. The home itself was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was nicely stocked and organised. Amenties were easy to locate and use (fantastic washer and dryer). There was also plentiful entertainment that exceeded my expectations, including many board games, movies, toys, sporting/outdoor equipment (beach towels, tennis rackets, etc). Greatly appreciated the owner accommodating our slightly later check out time. Overall, our group of 8 had a lovely stay and would return. Negative: Wish there was more seating in the main living area. One of the bunk beds were missing slats both top and bottom. Not all bedroom windows had blinds which was a little uncomfortable and disturbed sleep due to the sunlight. Lastly, not a huge issue, but I couldn't find the clothes iron despite looking everywhere.

Unexpected Positive: There were parts of our stay at the house that we really enjoyed, like the gorgeous full showers, great location and lovely backyard. The location of the house is walking distance from some great coffee and beautiful nature paths. Negative: There were others that didn't provide the comfort we anticipated. The main concerns we had were acoustics, technology, privacy and light. Although there's a seperate play area upstairs, the sound carries throughout the house making both environments noisy. Similarly with the downstairs bathroom/toilet where the sound opens into the kitchen and living space. The inability to block out light made all sleep zones tricky, both for putting kids to sleep and for privacy in the main bedrooms. The early sunlight made holiday sleep ins impossible. The dvd player often took multiple attempts to read discs and the remote didn't work. The oven size made our Christmas events tricky.

Positive: Beautiful location

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!! Lovely property with anything you might need. BUT the location was PERFECT! Quick walk to cafe’s and restaurants, as well as the clifftop path to the lighthouse. Wonderful family stay; the property manager was responsive to any questions.
